Production Assembler
About The Position
A well-established manufacturer is seeking a dependable Production Assembler to support the production of heavy-duty equipment used in municipal, industrial, and infrastructure applications. This is a full-time, onsite role for someone who enjoys hands-on work, precision assembly, and being part of a collaborative shop-floor team. The Assembly Technician is responsible for building high-quality fabricated components and finished units according to technical specifications and production schedules. This role supports products engineered to perform in demanding environments and requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Proficiency with measuring tools and basic shop math
- Experience using common hand and power tools
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- Commitment to safety procedures and required PPE
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Assemble subcomponents and finished units following established work instructions
- Install seals, gaskets, and sealants according to drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, 2D CAD drawings, and technical documentation
- Perform minor fitting and alignment using jigs, fixtures, and templates
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Prepare materials through grinding, cleaning, and surface preparation
- Perform product touch-ups to ensure quality standards prior to shipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform basic tool and equipment maintenance
- Move materials and finished products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned
