About The Position

The Production Assembler performs repetitive and/or standard assembly/calibration operations of moderate complexity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under moderate supervision, receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments following established procedures.
Solve problems of limited scope.
Quality of work is verified by the assembler, and occasionally by another source.
May make proper computer transactions to move product and work order through the system.
When needed, frequent contact with associates, supervisor and possibly engineering, sales, and production control requiring reporting and exchanging of information with interpretation, or expediting products.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred. (5 years of experience required in place of High School Diploma or GED.)
• 1 year experience as an assembler and the ability to identify and read the value of electronic components and read/understand simple production or engineering prints.
• Requires basic command of English, basic math skills, good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
• Basic knowledge of related practices, processes, policies and procedures.
• Operate numerous shop/test tools and equipment (with certification where applicable).
