The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and detail-oriented assembler with experience working with fabricated and purchased parts. You will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to read and interpret production blueprints and documents, and the ability to work with established tooling and follow detailed production information. The Aircraft Manufacturing Training Program will train to perform structural work on the C-130 aircraft in accordance with technical data. The applicant will receive related instruction (RI) and on the job learning (OJL) to include assembly and installation, repair, and inspection of structural, electrical, and mechanical elements of an aircraft while performing direct tasks for the program. The applicant will be expected to perform repetitive and non-repetitive operations after completing training with some assistance and supervision. Works from blueprints, diagrams, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools to perform work according to technical data.
