About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assembler to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and inspecting window sash, screens, and related components. The ideal candidate will follow work instructions and blueprints, maintain quality standards, and ensure that finished products meet safety and performance specifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience in window or window screen fabrication is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Ability to use a measuring tape and perform basic mathematical calculations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and components according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, assembly layouts, part lists, and specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Gather parts, materials, and tools from inventory using pick lists and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform inventory management for tools and materials used in the assembly process.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Conduct testing, calibration, and quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Evaluate the quality of parts and materials prior to and during assembly.
  • Pick and prepare all necessary components for window sash fabrication.
  • Safely lift and position window glass panes onto workstations or rotating suction wheels.
  • Apply glazing materials to glass edges and assemble aluminum sash components using mallets, fasteners, pneumatic tools, and silicone adhesives
  • Inspect completed sash assemblies for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
  • Load finished window sash units onto carts and label production batches with job information.
  • Measure, cut, and roll screen material to specified dimensions.
  • Assemble window screens using aluminum frames, spline, and screen rolling equipment, ensuring proper tension, alignment, and finish.
  • Inspect completed screens for defects and proper fit prior to staging or packaging.
  • Handle screen materials, frames, and related components safely during production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
