About The Position

Job Summary: The Production Operator will perform production operator functions including, but not limited to assembly, kitting, testing, packaging, identification, and material handling of product. Responsible for performing all production functions as requested by production management. This role reports to the Production Manager. Requirements

Flexibility to be trained on new or alternative techniques, processes, or equipment.
Regularly perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail without losing focus.
Able to work within a team and/or individually in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Effectively communicate via verbal and written with management, team leads and coworkers.
Basic reading skills required to follow documented procedures, work instructions, and utilize drawings after training.
Basic computer functions. Logging time, logging serial numbers, obtaining drawings
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, not required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an electronics environment preferred, not required.
Soldering experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Complete production processes according to documentation.
Read, interpret, and follow diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly job responsibilities.
Perform all work in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Document required records accurately and timely as assigned.
Recognize non-conformances and notify proper personnel.
Informs lead operator and/or supervisor of any delivery or personnel concerns.
Routinely maintain a clean and safe work area aligned with our safety procedures.
Due to high business impact, we request those in this role to communicate absences proactively whenever possible.
This role does require periodic overtime over an extended period based on business demand, communicated, and assigned proactively by management.
Other duties as assigned.
