This role will support production, development/prototype assemblies and products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment. This is a 2nd shift position and an onsite role in McKinney, Texas.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in performing product assemblies by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and/or other related documentation under limited supervision.
  • U.S. Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. SECRET government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Experience with the use of common hand instruments (screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, torque tools and analyzers, etc.
  • Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools
  • Related experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble, re-assemble, fabricate, repair and/or inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments.
  • May route, dispatch and expedite flow of material.
  • Check for work correctness.
  • Specific duties will include material preparation and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform wire/cable preparation, installation, crimping, and torquing using hand instruments.
  • Perform all work in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards.
  • Work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals.
  • Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, demonstrated process.
  • Perform in-process inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Develop more than one job at a time and have the flexibility to work across shifts.
