Requirements

  • 1–2 years in mechanical assembly, with a background in automotive or engine repair a plus.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions, and a mechanical aptitude.
  • Capable of standing for long periods and using pneumatic tools with short-duration vibrations.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and eager to learn specialized processes like electrical wiring.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble various components using blueprints, hand tools, and pneumatic tools, performing tasks like wiring, bolting, aligning, and torquing.
  • Pre-assemble parts such as engines, water pumps, transmissions, and blade guards.
  • Ensure precise fit and finish, applying decals and paint touch-ups as needed.
  • Test finished equipment to confirm proper functionality.
  • Complete inspection checklists and notify supervisors for final approval.
  • Prepare products for shipment, including crating, boxing, and adding necessary materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and report tool repair needs.
  • Suggest improvements to processes and specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns.
