About The Position

A confidential defense/manufacturing facility</b> is seeking a skilled Production Assembler</b> to join its secure production team. This role supports the assembly of precision equipment in a climate -controlled manufacturing environment</b> where quality and security are top priorities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of mechanical assembly experience</b> in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment preferred.
• VantageClear certification or equivalent U.S. security clearance is required
• Proficiency with hand tools, fasteners, and precision assembly techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy components, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read instructions/diagrams, and effective written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub -assemblies according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare and position parts, fastening with bolts, screws, clips, cements, or other approved methods.
• Operate machines and tools such as hydraulic/pneumatic presses, air wrenches, and bonding equipment for force fitting and fastening operations.
• Build and prepare wire harnesses through crimping, soldering, pinning, depinning connectors, and labeling.
• Inspect completed units to verify alignment, fit, and functionality; record production data accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while complying with all security and quality protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and resolve assembly challenges.
