About The Position

As a Production Assembly Operator on our FHS Landauer team, you will be part of a team that processes dosimeter orders and manufacture them to finished badges. Working under general supervision, you will operate equipment in tandem with a partner and perform a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of detection devices. Success as a member of the packaging team is measured through the completion of the following core roles and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machines
Load/unload machines (may be assisted by automation or ergo aids)
Move wheeled carts, racks, bins containing work in progress to adjacent production areas
Eliminate routine errors, perform minor troubleshooting work
Participate in the continuous improvement process
Inspect product quality
Maintain cleanliness of surrounding work areas
Working with mindfulness and integrity to avoid mistakes that cause shipping delays
Ability to work 10–12-hour shifts including weekends during peak volume periods
May be needed to sit and/or stand and work with your hands throughout the shift
Ability to lift to 30 pounds, stand for up to 3 hours, bend and reach
Rotating stations or jobs as often as needed.
Willingness to learn and rotate in multiple roles within the facility
Assignment of different duties based on business needs
Follow safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures
