About The Position

Assemble components for doors, windows and glass operations under guidance of leadership. Understands safety is a priority and observes/ practices all safety procedures to prevent injury to self or co-workers and attends periodic safety meetings as required; Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy. machinery. Shift: 2nd Shift M- Fri 5pm-1:30am Responsibilities: • Provide operational support services and sometimes act as a lead of a transactional operations area. • Operate complex machines and systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity. Also responsible for generating solutions to complex inefficiencies. • Contribute data and information to production plans. Run reports, check accuracy, and distribute information. • Help to install complex systems and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance. • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines. • Determines daily priorities and plans/adjusts activities to meet goals. Communicate schedule and productivity goals to team. Reallocates laborer needs. • Follow the organization's EHS policies, procedures and mandatory instructions; to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace • Instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate. • Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives, and monitoring them to make sure they are effective. • Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, conflict resolution, time management, and communication skills required. Requirements
