About The Position

Starting pay of $17.25 per hour, plus we have a great benefit package, including 80 hours of Paid Time Off available in the first payroll after completing 90 days of employment and up to 72 hours of earned sick time each year, a 401(k) retirement plan with immediate vesting with a 100% employer match for your first 3% of deferrals and 50% match for next 2%! That means if you put in 5% we put in 4% - an 80% match. Three medical plans, Blue Cross dental and EyeMed vision, employer paid life insurance, employer paid short- and long-term disability insurance. Medical, dental and vision benefits are effective the 1st of the month after you start! First shift work schedule is Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Production Assembler: · Place parts onto fixture for assembly · Press fit parts into assembly · Visually inspect the cuff and tube, and overall visual inspection for critical characteristics · Count and place parts into bin · Fold bags in half · Place in box Backup Line Worker for NuLine (when applicable): · Push liners through top taper machine · Visually inspect the product, and overall visual inspection for critical characteristics · Count and place liners into a box · Documents non-conforming material · Follows production orders and enters production data into a computer or documents on paper · Maintains a clean work area and ensures work area is clean at the end of shift · Continuously stock machine hoppers · Assemble & stage boxes with liners and daily labels · Assistant in the change film roll · Complete tracking tickets and stage finished goods · Communicate raw materials needs with warehouse personnel · Move pallets of raw materials and finished goods with a pallet-jack · Rotate positions throughout the line Other Responsibilities · Documents non-conforming material · Maintains a clean work area and ensures work area is clean at the end of shift · Operates pallet jack as needed · Cross train for continuous learning and development

  • Must be able to wear vinyl or nitrile gloves.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to turn each time a Saftea Liner is made and when placing it into a green crate, as well as when placing finished bags into boxes.
