About The Position
This position involves building small sub-assemblies for customer orders and top-level units. The role requires the ability to read and understand process sheets and some blueprints.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Read and understand a process sheet or some blueprints
- Good hand-eye coordination
Responsibilities
- Assemble sub-assembly for customer and final instrument assembly
- Assemble minor instruments
- Minor rework of sheet metal
- Minor paint touchup
- Set up work orders
- Reject non-conforming parts and stop process when parts or process is out of control
