About The Position

The Production Assembler III is responsible for the precision assembly of complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems used in electronic test products. This role performs advanced assembly operations involving microscopic, fragile, and high‑tolerance components. The position requires strong technical assembly skills, the ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation, validate component tolerances, and contribute to production efficiency in a fast‑paced, cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate laser cutting equipment according to documented procedures to cut and extract polymer membranes and components for production and engineering evaluation.
  • Assemble polymer membranes onto electronic probe components, including precise attachment, clamping in proprietary fixtures, UV curing, and process time management.
  • Perform mechanical attachment of small, mixed‑material components using screw fasteners, adhesives, and other bonding methods.
  • Perform all technical duties of a Production Assembler II as required.
  • Manage and prioritize assembly processes to maximize output while meeting product run requirements, curing times, and due dates.
  • Read, interpret, and execute assembly documentation, schematics, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to assess and validate tolerance stack‑ups.
  • Assemble small parts and components using microscopes, specialized jigs, fixtures, and precision hand tools.
  • Set up and execute tests to validate build specifications and product quality.
  • Collect, organize, and evaluate Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to support process stability and continuous improvement.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain specialized manufacturing equipment per documented processes.
  • Safely handle chemicals such as solvents and adhesives in accordance with safety rules, procedures, and training requirements.
