This includes applying all necessary graphical, regulatory, and prepress requirements for both house and private-label brands.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent training and experience in the graphic arts field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and collaborate with various teams (clients, sales, and regulatory) to ensure compliant and approved labels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • BarTender software experience preferred
  • Familiarity with packaging design and regulatory requirements for aerosol and liquid products is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt Existing Packaging: Adapt existing packaging designs for various internal and external brands across diverse markets. This includes retail and professional use in the Cleaning, Automotive, Paint, Pesticides, and Food Service industries.
  • Collaborate and Extend Artwork: Work closely with the Scheduler, Senior Packaging Production Artist, Project Managers, and Regulatory Specialists to apply and extend artwork across various packaging types. This includes product labeling (adhered or directly printed), shrink sleeves & wraps, blisters, folding cartons, corrugated cartons, and trays, as well as different sizes, structures, and product varieties (e.g., alternate flavors).
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Apply all required regulatory information to packaging while meticulously maintaining the creative integrity of the design (e.g., FTC, FDA, OTC, EPA, and GHS).
  • Artwork Creation: Create production-ready art files for all packaging projects using the Mac-based Adobe Creative Suite(Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat), Microsoft 365, and BarTender.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent execution across all projects by rigorously applying brand standards and design best practices.
  • Conduct Quality Control: Conduct a thorough QC review of your final artwork to ensure accuracy and quality prior to final QC review and artwork completion.
  • Manage Project Schedule: Manage multiple assigned projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timelines and expectations are consistently met.
