About The Position

TRAINER + PRODUCTION ART EXPERT + MENTOR + PROBLEM SOLVER + COMMUNICATOR THE OPPORTUNITY: Are you passionate about art, production, and people? Lakeshirts is hiring a Trainer to support and develop our Art Floor Support team. Based onsite in Detroit Lakes or Little Falls, MN, this role focuses on training new and current employees in screenprint support functions. You'll coach team members on best practices, production art quality, and Lakeshirts standards, playing a vital role in team growth and screenprint success. A TYPICAL DAY (JOB FUNCTIONS): Train new and existing team members in Floor Support screenprint techniques Ensure safety and Production Art standards are clearly taught and followed Use Lakeshirts' 90-day checklist to track new hire progress and provide feedback Evaluate performance and adjust training based on development needs Communicate regularly with leads and supervisors about team growth Troubleshoot printing or setup issues and teach effective solutions Maintain task load while supporting training efforts Promote Lakeshirts' values and safe work practices Attend department meetings and participate in HR-led evaluations Other responsibilities as directed Work actively with others in the department and company to achieve positive results Maintaining and creating training tools as needed SKILLS (QUALIFICATIONS): 2- or 4-year degree in Graphic Design or related art field required Strong background in Production Art using Illustrator and Photoshop At least 1 year of Art Department experience Excellent coaching, communication, organizational, and mentoring skills Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities Patient and approachable with a passion for developing others WHY LAKESHIRTS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BE. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: CONTINUOUSLY: Sit FREQUENTLY: Walk, Bend, Twist, Reach, Lift under 10 lbs., Carry under 10 lbs., Reach above/at/below shoulder height. OCCASIONALLY: Stand, Push, Pull, Lift 10-50 lbs., Carry 10-50 lbs.

Requirements

  • 2- or 4-year degree in Graphic Design or related art field required
  • Strong background in Production Art using Illustrator and Photoshop
  • At least 1 year of Art Department experience
  • Excellent coaching, communication, organizational, and mentoring skills
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Patient and approachable with a passion for developing others
