About The Position

The Production and Supply Planning Manager at Trystar Inc. is responsible for leading and optimizing the supply chain operations, specifically focusing on the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to align production and supply plans with business objectives, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in planning routines and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management and/or planning in a mature S&OP/IBP process.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning software.
  • Expert or Advanced supply chain analytical skills.
  • Expert or Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Hands-on experience building and improving existing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processes across all planning routines, processes, and tools used in a SIOP process.
  • Oversee production scheduling processes and tools to maximize asset optimization and minimize costs.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the planning team, promoting a culture of external focus and internal value creation.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration within the planning community.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and optimize master data across planning systems.
  • Conduct regular cross-functional meetings to review supply chain performance and strategies.
  • Develop KPIs and targets for the team leveraging SIOP reports and suggested metrics.
  • Analyze and report on key S&OE and SIOP metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Develop approaches for efficient 'what-if' scenario modeling for varying supply and demand conditions.
  • Ensure tools and systems adhere to inventory targets and oversee stock calculations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all planning processes, tools, and models.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement relevant improvements.
