About The Position
As a Production and Maintenance Technician at Sonoco, you will perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing production equipment to meet customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include disassembling, overhauling, and rebuilding production equipment, performing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, conducting inspections of in-process materials and finished products, and maintaining supplies and tools for your assigned area. You will also be required to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer, communicate pertinent information to the next shift, and complete clean-up and housekeeping duties. The position requires rotating through all workstations as needed.
