About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator (Level B or C) to join the 787 Boeing South Carolina (BSC) Materials Management Transportation and Paint Ops Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd Shift. Position Responsibilities: Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc. Monitors and analyzes work in process. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability. Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under limited supervision This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 35-40 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
  • Currently have or are able to obtain a forklift license
  • 1+ years of aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years’ experience working with the ERPLN application

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years’ experience working with (SAT) Shipside Action Tracker
  • 1+ years’ experience and system knowledge of BESSy (Boeing Enterprise Shipping System)
  • 1+ years’ experience utilizing the Crib Master application
  • 1+ years’ working knowledge of inventory systems such as KITS, Velocity, and Order Manager
