About The Position

Production and Inventory Coordinator Lead Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator Lead to join the IRCSC MMO Shipping and Receiving Team located in Ladson, South Carolina on 1st shift. Processes and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc. Monitors and analyzes work in process. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability. Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under limited supervision

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 2+ years of Warehouse experience packaging and crating
  • 2+ years of experience in Inventory Management

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience working in CMES systems/BESSY/Crib Masters/KITS.
  • 2+ years of experience with the ERPLN application
  • 2+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles
  • 2+ years of experience operating a Forklift
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
  • 2+ years of experience working in cold room
