About The Position

The Production Analyst at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts (CTSA) is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of various production areas including scenic, costumes, electrics, audio, and props. This role involves planning and directing the administrative functions of the Production Unit, analyzing needs, establishing objectives, and implementing organizational planning to meet the goals of the Production Department. The analyst will administer an operational program that may include finance, payroll, space planning, human resources, communications, and informational technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of administrative experience managing projects and 1 year of budgeting experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and work assignments from various staff, students, and volunteers.
  • Proficient in full-cycle purchasing processes including purchasing, reimbursements, and reconciliation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, planning, and administration of allocated budgets.
  • Familiarity with IBM-PC and related software: Word, Access, Excel, Eudora, Sinet, AISI, Windows.
  • Proven organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze and structure complex information and deliver clear reports.
  • Extensive experience in crafting written and oral communications, including reports and policy guidelines.
  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate with diverse population groups.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of production areas: scenic, costumes, electrics, audio, and props.
  • Plan and direct administrative functions of the Production Unit.
  • Analyze needs and establish short and long-range objectives for the Production Department.
  • Administer operational programs including finance, payroll, space planning, human resources, communications, and IT.
  • Report on production activities, schedule meetings, and maintain calendars.
  • Assist faculty, staff, and students with inquiries related to the Production area.
