About The Position

Schedule and activate new work orders while reviewing and adjusting capacities where necessary. Employee will work closely with Planning, Contracts, and Production to ensure smooth flow of work complying with customer’s delivery requirements.

Requirements

• Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
• Must have reliable transportation and work overtime as needed
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Ability to understand capacity charts and level load work centers
• Excel and Word software experience
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
• Problem solving skills a must
• Strong communication skills and a good eye to detail

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one year experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop setting preferred
• Experience with ERP system preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize Material Planning Report to determine Min/Max needs and generate list to Planning to fulfill requirements on a regular basis
• Review PO’s along with Long Term Agreement(LTA) spreadsheet to assess quantity need based on parts per cut (if available) prior to submitting list for Planning to generate jobs
• Work closely with contracts to ensure customer requirements are accomplished
• Ensure jobs are created in a timely manner to fulfill PO requirements
• Evaluate and schedule new workflow created by the Planning team
• Report forecasting issues to management for review
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
