The Production Accounting Analyst is responsible for querying, extracting, and analyzing production information for the Division. This role involves maintaining the accuracy and data integrity of the ProCount production system, as well as identifying, analyzing, and reconciling daily and monthly oil, gas, and water volumes for company-operated properties. The analyst will create daily validation tools to monitor field volumes, build and maintain EDI files for reporting monthly volumes to federal and/or state agencies, and manage the setup of new wells and production changes within PROCOUNT. Collaboration with field personnel is crucial to ensure timely and proper transmission of production data. The position also requires compliance with all RRC requirements and regulations, including monitoring changes from field operations and marketing contracts, and adhering to report formatting requirements. Additionally, the analyst will provide general support to various departments such as interest owners (monthly production), DST accounting (tax, revenue, royalty, regulatory), Land (status of wells), Marketing (nominations), Production (operations support), and Reservoir (engineering forecasts and evaluations) based on the processed production information. The position level will be commensurate with experience.
