About The Position

As a Product Visualization Designer at Preformed Line Products, you will leverage your skills in 3D modeling and rendering to create compelling product imagery and animations for marketing purposes. This role involves collaborating with product development teams to understand product functionalities and translating that knowledge into visual content that enhances marketing materials. You will be responsible for maintaining a library of 3D assets and ensuring that all visual representations align with current trends and company standards.

Requirements

• An associate's degree in animation or industrial design is preferred, or an associate's degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial technology.
• 1-3 years of related industry experience.
• Technical illustration experience and technical aptitude is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Pro-Engineer / CREO or comparable 3D modeling software.
• Proficiency with Luxion KeyShot or comparable 3D rendering and animation software.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Engage with product development teams to understand product functions and solutions to develop accurate and appealing product imagery.
• Create application procedures, technical drawings, and quote drawings via 3D modeling and renderings for use in bid packages and engineering consulting books.
• Collaborate with product and market managers on new product development projects.
• Establish and maintain a library of 3D renderings and animations for use in multiple marketing publications.
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
• Provide front-to-end implementation of product focus and application animations.
• Assist in advertising for trade show booths and social media posts.
• Provide insight and guidance on current visual trends and technologies.
• Review already published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
• Review competitors' trade catalogs, drawings, or other relative sales and marketing collateral and provide feedback to product and market managers.
