About The Position
We are seeking a Product Test Technician to join our Automotive Electronic Products (AEP) team as part of CompalUSA, work based in Goleta California. A hybrid work model combining the flexibility of remote work at home with the benefits of on-site collaboration in the Goleta, CA development facility will be employed. The Product Test Technician will be responsible for Camera testing, test equipment assembly and electro-mechanical troubleshooting related tasks as part of our multi-disciplined development team.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience as a technician with demonstrated product testing, mechanical equipment assembly and troubleshooting experience.
- Basic computer skills, soldering and desoldering capability a plus.
- Contribute to creation of process documentation.
Responsibilities
- Product testing of infrared camera assemblies during development.
- Contribute to assembly and integration of camera test equipment and prototype assemblies.
- Electrical and mechanical assembly of prototype kits and test stations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues during development.
