About The Position
Blood Assurance is seeking a full-time Product Technician to work in their downtown Chattanooga lab location on the 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends and occasional holidays. This position offers a shift premium. Requirements
- Be detailed oriented
- Have excellent customer services skills (both verbal and written)
- Have computer skills
- Be able to lift 50lbs on a routine basis
Nice To Haves
- 3rd shift experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Answering phone to take orders from area hospitals that are in need
- Packing blood and/or blood products for distribution according to standard operating procedures.
- Notifying Courier when shipment is ready for pick up.
- Receiving blood components from multiple locations.
- Manufacture blood and blood components according to standard operating procedures.
