Product Support Technician

About the role: As a Product Support Technician, you will ensure the support groups have been provided necessary RFQ documents or a link to requirements and scope of work information. Includes facilitating meetings/discussions with team members to clarify scope and requirements. You will report to the Site Director and be located at Shoreview, MN. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be onsite 2-3 days per week. We do not provide relocation for this position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5 years experience with Fuel Handling equipment, Bid and Proposals, sales, project management or other related fields.
- Experience with SAP
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe PDF
Responsibilities
- Identify the scope of work for new RFQs, with product manager support and submit B&P funding request to the respective regions
- Document the scope of work/supply and collecting the initial cost estimates from the support groups associated with the deliverable scope of work
- Assist support groups in developing an understanding of the customers' requirements and proposed scope of work
- Identify any questions or need for clarification from the customer
- Develop the technical bid documents (e.g. Compliance Matrix, Technical Description (TD)
- Obtain concurrence, modification or exceptions to the technical requirements and quality assurance requirements
- Driving offer schedule
- Maintain offer cost workbook
