The Product Supply NPI Professional will support the marine product group through procurement and supply chain coordination in the NPI / NSI process.

Requirements

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Teamwork: Knowledge of the necessity and value of teamwork; experience with; ability to work cooperatively towards shared goals and being supportive of others at all levels.
  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Procurement: Knowledge of buying and procurement; ability to work with organizational strategies and practices, and use tools for buying goods, supplies, equipment and services needed to conduct business.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business / Supply Chain / Engineering
  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Order to Delivery, NPI
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders to convey and interpret technical and business information.

Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership for the NPI activities relevant to procurement, including RFQ, quote analysis, and Make vs Buy
  • Working closely with operations and product development in creating a supply chain for a new product.
  • Researching and assessing existing and potential suppliers; making recommendations on supplier selection aligned with category strategies
  • Support category purchasing on commercial negotiation & sourcing strategy by providing Marine VOB
  • Coordinate with internal process partners on logistics & transportation related issues during NPI / NSI process
  • Dealer S&OP support for Marine prime & aftermarket
