About The Position

The Product Strategy Manager, Medicare is responsible for supporting product strategy design, planning, and end-to-end performance management for Point32Health’s Medicare products, inclusive of Medicare Advantage (HMO, PPO) & Medicare Supplement. The Manager leads Medicare Product’s key processes associated with the product performance management plan across a highly matrixed organization and a broad set of external stakeholders. This role works closely with a cross-section of division and enterprise business and functional teams (operations, clinical services, network management, finance, and actuarial, etc.) to ensure appropriate product management and successful performance tracking and performance improvement. The Manager is responsible for supporting the development of key performance targets, the completion of required analytical initiatives and the creation of action-oriented performance improvement recommendations based on analytic findings. Under the direction of the Director of Product Strategy (Medicare), the Manager contributes to building presentations of key business cases and updates to the senior leadership team to facilitate strategic decision-making.

  • Experience with applicable software and database programs including Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5-7 years of professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director and Senior Manager of Product Strategy, working collaboratively with the Performance Manager of Product Strategy to develop recommendations which optimize product performance and delivery, ensuring alignment with contractual needs, and regulatory and policy landscape.
  • Support ongoing product, policy, and market assessment, including consumer research, competitor assessment, and assessment of industry leaders
  • Collaborate closely with key internal and external stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert on the strategic priorities of the Duals products
  • Engage internal stakeholders to assess legal, compliance, operational, consumer, and network considerations and business requirements relative to strategic goals
  • Support the implementation of critical operational initiatives and best-practice solutions to ensure sustainable product management including Requests for Procurement (RFPs), care management strategies and integration of regulatory policy objectives and contract compliance
  • Conduct regular policy and market scans to ensure product delivery and strategy is responsive to and reflective of policy landscape
  • Serve as subject matter expert to all enterprise functions when questions arise regarding benefit delivery, product contracts, and state programs and policies
  • Serve as the key product liaison for Government Affairs, Compliance, Product Administration, Marketing, and Community Engagement amongst others
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
