As a member of the Product Strategy team, you will conduct analyses that help drive decisions to define Rivian's consumer product roadmap. Your work will be a blend of cross-functional project management, technical product management and definition, financial analysis, market research, product planning and executing changes to plans across hardware and software product strategies. You will perform data-driven analyses to generate insights, and present solutions to complex problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on commercial initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
  • Passion for, and understanding of, the automotive industry, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Proven ability to translate data and insights into visually appealing and easily understandable presentations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product updates including volume, pricing, and takerate changes for new and existing models
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify competitive pricing trends, consumer behavior shifts, and key market drivers. Monitor industry trends to provide actionable insights and monthly industry reports.
  • Create and manage business cases to inform decision-making.
  • Create concise product briefs that effectively communicate the features, specs, benefits and the intended user experience of new products.
  • Support the launch of new products by collaborating with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful launch. Track launch performance and adjust strategies based on initial market reception.
  • Partner with Vehicle Line, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Development, Sales Operations, Demand Planning and Finance teams to ensure product offerings meet market demands and financial targets.
  • Create materials to support discussions with internal and external partners.
