About The Position

The Product Stewardship Specialist will play a key role in managing Potters' global product stewardship and safety datasheets. The individual will oversee the regulatory requirements needed for the safe use and handling of our global product portfolio, provide guidance on the applicable regulations and assess compliance status.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering - Desired Level - MS in Regulatory Science
• 3+ years experience working with government regulations, and regulatory agencies or experience with HSE
• 3+ years experience in finding and understanding various product regulations; ex: REACH, TSCA, K‐REACH, global food contact, personal care, etc.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer and external product regulatory inquiries
• Conduct due diligence on the regulations and provide guidance on requirements for compliance
• Coordinate and discuss responses with internal stakeholders. Where required, coordinate communications with external parties (customers, regulatory bodies, etc.)
• Manage supplier compliance requirements
• Manage existing global safety datasheet inventory and new product SDS requirements
• Maintain existing management systems and procedures. Identify any gaps, develop new protocols, procedures and management systems where needed
