About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Three years of demonstrated experience in database management, data querying, and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to conduct advanced data analyses and manipulate large datasets.
• Technical writing skills to effectively present ideas to various audiences.
• Strong human relation and communication skills for collaboration with diverse clientele.
• Planning and organizational skills to meet priorities and monitor work.

• Expertise in data science software such as Tableau, SQL, ArcGIS, Python, or R.
• Experience in database design and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, facilitate, and participate in complex program evaluation and data analysis.
• Develop, execute, and communicate statistical and visual data analysis.
• Oversee data-related work for the program, ensuring data accessibility and trustworthiness.
• Advocate for appropriate use and management of data in collaboration with the division's data steward.
• Communicate data management decisions between subject matter experts, MNIT, MPCA leadership, and external stakeholders.
