About The Position
The Product Specialist is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and optimization of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing workflows, and inventory item setups to support efficient manufacturing and product implementation processes. This role ensures accurate system data to facilitate production planning, cost analysis, and product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain BOMs for new and existing products.
- Ensure BOM accuracy and completeness across all product lines.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams to validate BOM structures.
- Develop and update routings to reflect accurate production workflows.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing routing efficiency.
- Assist in the setup of BOMs, routings, and inventory items for new product introductions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate updates.
- Support product launch readiness from a routing and BOM perspective.
- Create inventory item records in NetSuite systems.
- Ensure proper classification, and sourcing information is applied.
- Review costing with finance team as needed.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and consistency in NetSuite systems.
- Perform audits and validations of BOMs and routings.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of system-related BOM and routing issues.
