About The Position

The Product Specialist, RIA Blueprint Platform, will play a critical role in supporting the design, development, and ongoing management of CFG’s advisory platform. This position is responsible for driving platform enhancements, developing new programs, and ensuring operational excellence through close collaboration with internal and external partners. The role requires strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to serve as a key liaison across multiple teams, including Asset Management, Technology, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of advisory platforms.
  • Strong MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and objectives.
  • High level of professionalism and client-service orientation.
  • Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering an outstanding advisor experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or relevant professional designations
  • Securities licenses (Series 7, 24, 63/65, or 66)
  • Experience with platforms such as Orion, Envestnet, or Black Diamond highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day management of the advisory platform, including BD and advisor-level customizations, issue resolution with Compliance, Advisory Billing & Reporting, and Operations.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Trading, and Overlay Managers to anticipate and resolve procedural, operational, and trading issues.
  • Partner with the Wealth Management Consulting team to drive advisor adoption and engagement with the platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Act as a liaison between product, operations, and strategic partners, ensuring clear communication of priorities, requirements, and updates.
  • Maintain accurate program and process documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of advisor-facing materials such as marketing collateral, FAQs, and job aids.
  • Generate and analyze reports from multiple sources to support informed business decisions.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of initiatives.
  • Provide consultative support to advisors on trading capabilities and creating differentiated advisor experiences.
  • Assist in managing relationships with third-party vendors, including Financial Planning, Performance Reporting, and Overlay Management providers.
  • Support enhancement requests and issue resolution with vendors to maintain platform integrity and performance.
  • Participate in the design and development of CFG’s advisory platform and products, contributing to the Product Development Group’s vision and strategy.
  • Gather and communicate business requirements from key stakeholders to inform product enhancements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on advisory products for cross-functional projects.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to guide platform evolution.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
