As a Product Specialist I, you’ll play a key role in supporting product adoption and customer satisfaction by demonstrating equipment, gathering field insights, and collaborating across teams. This role helps bridge the gap between product development and real-world application, ensuring Vermeer solutions deliver value where it matters most.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on industry experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage time across dealer site visits, trade shows, customer demos, and product launch events.
  • Ability to operate machinery and confidently demonstrate equipment capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences (preferred).
  • Experience logging customer interactions using tools like Excel or shared documents; willing to learn Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience developing training materials.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data tools to analyze trends and summarize customer or territory insights. Interest in learning Power BI or Tableau to support informed decision-making.
  • Willingness to support customer onboarding and product adoption by delivering clear training, answering questions, and coordinating with internal teams. Help drive customer satisfaction and retention by maintaining clear communication and follow-up.
  • Aptitude to quickly resolve mechanical or performance issues on equipment through hands-on troubleshooting, observation, and collaboration with service and engineering teams. Capacity to learn and apply root cause analysis, document field issues, and communicate technical feedback to support continuous improvement in product development and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Vermeer at dealer sites, trade shows, and customer demos—managing your time effectively across these engagements to support product visibility and adoption.
