Off Campus Partners: Off Campus Partners, a CoStar Group subsidiary and part of the Apartments.com network, is the leading provider of off-campus housing websites for colleges and universities in the U.S. Our mission is to simplify the off-campus housing experience for universities, students, and property managers nationwide. We have established partnerships with more than 150 of the country's top universities, offering their students a user-friendly website to search for housing, find roommates, and access educational resources. The Product Specialist is responsible for launching new university websites, managing and enhancing existing sites, and supporting the strategic product roadmap by owning specific features. This role collaborates closely with the Manager, Product, IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable digital experiences for students, parents, universities, and property clients. This is a highly cross‑functional role ideal for someone who can manage multiple projects and deadlines, communicate confidently with both internal teams and clients, and balance day‑to‑day execution with strategic product thinking.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in product management, project management, website implementation, or a related digital role.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited, not‑for-profit in-person university or college.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working cross‑functionally and engaging directly with clients or external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical proficiency working with web platforms, feature testing, and troubleshooting in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to identifying issues and driving improvements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in higher education, student housing, multifamily, or SaaS product environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading or supporting client‑facing website launches or digital product implementations.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or Trello.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new websites or digital products.
  • Experience working with content management systems; working knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
  • Experience with UX/UI concepts or design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience contributing to product roadmaps, feature planning, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Highly organized self‑starter who is adaptable and effective in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to-end implementation and launch of new off‑campus housing websites, including working directly with university clients through launch, and overseeing ongoing updates and enhancements to existing websites.
  • Own assigned product features and enhancements by developing implementation plans, coordinating execution across teams, and delivering on roadmap priorities.
  • Serve as the day‑to-day product expert for websites, managing questions, site updates, and enhancement requests from internal teams and clients.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Product, IT, University Accounts, Sales, Strategic Partnership Development, and Customer Support to identify needs, resolve issues, and support product decisions.
  • Support testing and monitor user experience, gathering and synthesizing feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
  • Support product launches and communications, including internal enablement, launch‑specific messaging, transactional emails, and system or feature update communications.
