About The Position

A packaging scanner is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing packaging materials and scanning packaging items to production process orders. This position is required to become proficient in the use of SAP computer software and barcode scanners, be detail-oriented, and needs strong clerical skills to help with organizational and recording responsibilities. Must be dependable with an ability to follow directions and have a strong willingness to learn. This position will be required to work on box machine and perform a physical inventory count twice weekly of packaging items and be responsible for physical reconciliation to computer records. Position will be required to prepare reports for supervisor relating to the inventory balance, and shortages. This position will be required to follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive atmosphere.

Requirements

Must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.

Responsibilities

Working inside, on slippery surfaces, around moving objects, in high humidity, possibly in high places, and/or in cramped working quarters.
