About The Position

As a Product Sales Executive for Structural Modeling at Trimble, you will be responsible for growing new structural detailing/BIM software accounts and developing business with current customers. This role involves collaborating with Account Executives to discover customer needs, uncover pain points, and demonstrate how Tekla Structures can address their critical business needs. You will guide customers through their buying process while working closely with Account Sales Executives and Sales Engineers. Your responsibilities will include finding, researching, developing, and closing leads for Tekla Structures software, communicating with prospective customers, keeping up with product information and industry updates, building opportunities and a pipeline, and achieving sales targets.

Requirements

  • Specialization or understanding of workflows within the structural steel fabrication and detailing or structural concrete industries.
  • Experience or knowledge of Tekla Structures software is preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment with a collaborative mindset.
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience is advantageous.
  • Software sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills with customers/prospects.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Google Suite products is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the United States up to 20% of the time.
