About The Position

Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineering)(Experienced or Lead) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Product Review Engineer to join the Production Engineering team located in Ridley Park, PA. Position Responsibilities: Investigates and provides written solutions Provides basic assistance to identify and document deviations that could impact product integrity, safety, design and regulatory requirements. Collects data to support root causes analysis and assists with implementing corrective action. Provides technical support by researching issues related to design, manufacturing, regulations and processes. Supports activities to define, initiate and approve technical content for revisions/improvements to product definition data. Coordination with cross-functional teams to successfully lead Request for Customer Notifications (RCN) and/or Notice of Escapements (NOE). Lead, review and streamline Material Review Board (MRB) processes for the Philadelphia site Maintain MRB audit schedules / coordinate with MRB leads to perform audits to meet compliance requirements This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Electrical engineering
  • 9+ years’ engineering experience
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
  • “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of experience working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Material Review Board Certification experience or similar Liaison Engineering experience.
  • Aerospace experience, fabrications, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with Notice of Escapements (NOE) and Request for Customer Notifications (RCN)
  • Production engineering experience.
  • Relevant technological knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, work independently and in a team environment.
