About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer) located in Berkeley, MO. This position involves researching and building knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues. The engineer will assist with analyses, root cause analysis, and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances. They will also assist the system owner in preparing technical communications, identify and analyze fleet data, and collect and evaluate data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities. The role supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety, participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and assists with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structures to original design strength capability. This position is expected to be 100% onsite, requiring the selected candidate to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, which necessitates US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Level 1: Bachelor's degree and combination of technical education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Level 2: 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR work-related experience with a Masters.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
  • Good communication and cross-group collaboration skills.
