Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Hands-on experience with V-22 aircraft maintenance and/or modification.

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • Experience in Depot-level modification programs for military or aerospace aircraft.
  • Background in Quality Assurance within a maintenance or modification environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support assembly, disassembly, and overhaul of V-22 aircraft components for maintenance, modification, or repair purposes.
  • Perform component replacements and upgrades to correct failures or implement technical changes.
  • Configure and test aerospace vehicles and related bench test equipment to validate performance and system readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems using established diagnostics procedures and test equipment.
  • Conduct validation and verification testing on systems and components to ensure compliance with serviceability standards.
  • Document all maintenance actions, including repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections to meet contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform flight-worthiness inspections and verify the serviceability of components before installation.
  • Assist with discrepancy reconciliation and collaborate with engineering on any unresolved technical issues.
  • Maintain strict adherence to FOD control, tool control, and safety protocols in an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
  • Work independently under general direction.
