The Product Integrity Department is recruiting for a Process Development Engineer /Support Manager. The role is to act as chief of staff, lead strategic initiatives, anticipate and avoid problems, serve as a confidant, and assist with the day to day operation of the organization. The ideal candidate will have high organizational awareness and will be independent and able to exercise good judgement while working in a fast-paced environment. The role supports the strategic direction of the department, so candidates must possess the ability to engage in discussions, facilitate and drive change. This person must be able to communicate effectively with Executives and adjust messaging to fit the audience. What You Drive at DTNA You will be responsible to lead, support and implement VP Product Integrity vision and strategy. Providing high-level support in regulatory strategy, cross-functional coordination, and executive reporting, while championing product quality initiatives to ensure compliance and quality with industry standards and drive continuous improvement in product performance. Complete gap analysis and understand relevant PI processes Define and document processes for PI and its areas for other DTNA functions and sites Implement process improvements, identify future opportunities and plan implementation Prepare and train material and ensure alignment with government and internal requirements Manage tracking and training program Support and report on key activities for FTL/WST, TBB, FCCC and Detroit Knowledge You Should Bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering-related, or other technical/science degree and prefer 5-7 years of relevant experience Self-motivated and results-oriented required Experience with process evaluation and required facilitation skills Previous Project management or related experience required An attached resume is required Exceptional Candidates Might Have Minimum 5-7 years experience preferred in safety, compliance, process improvement, or similar systems preferred Experience with technology solutions and statistical tools (Minitab/Power BI, Tableau, AQT) or similar systems preferred Familiar skill with process improvement solving (such as SIPOC, Swim Lane, Value Stream Mapping, and Process Cycle Efficiency) preferred Experience in leading teams and problem solving efforts both on-site and remote preferred Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Portland, OR US.
