About The Position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving Inspection - Daily Pull random samples from each shipment or production lot to ensure compliance with product/part requirements. Product Inspections of Firearms, Air guns and Air soft products. Dimensional inspection using various hand and vision measuring equipment. Manufacturing quality audits Process non-conformance reports Assist in first article approval process Assist with corrective actions Assist in corrective action process. Assist with the new product testing as needed. All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High School diploma and Quality experience preferred. Experience and technical knowledge of firearms, air guns and airsoft is a plus. Experience in quality inspections or testing to an ASTM or ISO standard is a plus. Experience with handheld and vision measurement equipment. Ability to read and understand part drawing and specifications. Knowledge of GD&T is a plus Must have good technical writing, mathematics, and sound computer skills. Good mechanical ability and aptitude. Must be organized and use time wisely. Must have the ability to operate air guns and firearms. Must interact effectively, and positively, with other departments and external suppliers/customers. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Employment with Umarex USA is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
