About The Position

The position is responsible for product quality engineering (PQE) with a focus on quality assurance of InP/GaAs products manufactured in Sherman, TX. The role includes being a quality representative in the new product introduction (NPI) team, ensuring that quality-related aspects of new designs are addressed through individual contributions or by leading/facilitating the NPI team. The individual will interface with customers on quality issues during development, including correlation work and quality-related specifications. Additionally, the role involves ensuring that outgoing quality assurance (OQC) is designed and executed properly, leading material review board (MRB) activities throughout the product life cycle, and managing returned material (RMA) disposition and analysis, including corrective actions.

Requirements

• Minimum # years' experience in product quality preferred but not required.
• Education: BS/MS in Engineering or Statistics or equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of InP/GaAs semiconductors is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong background in practical application of statistical and quality tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Salesforce tools.
• JMP proficiency highly desired.
