About The Position

The Product Pricing & Profitability Analyst identifies, develops, and delivers strategic solutions to improve product profitability. As the primary owner and tactical executor of price lists, guidelines, and implementation for the product lines, this position ensures pricing supports margin and growth targets. They will act as the central point of contact for all pricing questions and requests from Sales, as well as cost targets for Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Product Management or Pricing Analysis type of role

  • Preferred 2 years of commercial experience within the Aerospace market

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and periodically update pricing, regularly consulting with Product Managers.
  • Analyze cost, competitive benchmarks, and customer value to recommend list price changes and discount strategies that improve profitability while remaining commercially competitive.
  • Own day-to-day pricing execution, collaborating with Product Managers to align pricing with product strategy, value propositions, and roadmap decisions.
  • Create and update price records in ERP system, manage effective dates, and ensure accuracy of pricing keys, terms, and conditions.
  • Serve as first-line approver for non-standard pricing requests within defined authority, preparing data-backed recommendations for leadership when escalations are required.
  • Support Sales with pricing support for proposals, RFQs, and long-term agreements.
  • Consolidate cost data, prepare price build-ups, assess margin, and document key pricing assumptions and risks.
  • Monitor price realization, margin leakage, and deal performance.
  • Identify root causes (e.g., discounting behavior, configuration choices, service terms) and propose corrective actions.
  • Partner with Operations to understand cost changes (materials, labor, overhead, logistics) and translate them into timely, data-driven pricing updates.
  • Support the optimization of costing strategies, supporting supplier diversification efforts and generating requirements for Strategic Sourcing and/or Materials.
  • Develop and maintain effective pricing tools for Product Management to apply the right price levels and guardrails.
  • Provide clear pricing guidance and training to Sales and Product teams, including communication for new price releases, increases, and pricing policy changes.
  • Work with Product Management and Marketing to ensure that pricing is consistent with positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Bring data-driven pricing and margin insights that influence product and portfolio decisions, such as which variants to promote, redesign, or sunset.
  • Ensure the effectiveness and implementation of pricing strategies in customer contractual agreements.
