Job Title Product Owner What does a successful Product Owner do at Fiserv? As a Product Owner, you will support delivery within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Agile Release Train (ART). In this role, you will guide the creation and prioritization of user stories, ensure alignment on requirements, and help the team deliver high‑quality solutions that meet business and client needs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings strong analytical and Agile expertise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment
  • Experience with the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System
  • Proficiency in applying Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies
  • Experience in collaborating with technical architects, business resources, and clients to drive product decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree and related experience and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with or within government systems or regulated environments
  • Background in enterprise SaaS or platform products
  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand the product roadmap.
  • Manage backlogs and prioritize user stories to maximize value delivery.
  • Define clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in scrum events, PI planning, and demos.
  • Work closely with development teams and architects to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within the Agile team, validate solutions stakeholders, and facilitate stakeholder communications and decision making.
  • Support cross‑functional coordination across teams and stakeholders.
