About The Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our Information Technology Team. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work fully remote, a hybrid schedule or in the office. The Product Owner is responsible for understanding business needs, prioritizing scrum team workloads, outlining milestones and deliverables and collaborating for smooth delivery at all levels of the process. The right candidate will be a strong leader who can clearly outline the scrum teams’ scope of work, create a roadmap and then ultimately translate it into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria. Requirements

  • Three to five years of similar or related systems experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment as a product owner
  • Thorough understanding of and experience in property and casualty insurance industry, required
  • Proven experience in managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and have the capability to manage and change priorities as needed to accomplish company objectives
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills required for effective communication at the staff, peer, and executive levels of the organization, along with vendors and other contacts while managing a project

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer technology, business, or other closely related field, preferred

  • Overseeing designs and development of user interaction and usability functions within newly developed and redesigned systems
  • Keeping abreast of new technical and business trends and changes by reading publications and attending workshops and other systems and applications related training
