About The Position

Essential Job Functions Describe the product with understanding of users and use, and develop a product that serves both. Analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the entire organization, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements, specifications and acceptance criteria to users. Inspect and oversee product progress during entire development process. Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation. Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team. Work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations. Manages vendor communication and product offering. Provide user support and training on the product. Assist with client implementation and WMS site implementation. Project management, as needed. Communicate with users and leadership regarding application changes. Handle support escalations and failures. Ensure support processes are documented and staffing is following documented processes. Assist in ensuring support SLAs are met. Support sales calls and process as needed. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must possess good communication skills with the ability to be assertive.
  • Extensive experience in working with end users to elicit and document business requirements.
  • Experience setting up test scenarios.
  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills, including solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications.
  • Strong teamwork skills in a small local setting, as well as across different geographic locations.
  • Strong organization skills with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Visio and backlog management tools.
  • Able to drive short-term actions that are consistent with long-term goals.
  • Expert knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Effective listening skills
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Bachelor degree
  • 3-5 years of experience working with software application maintenance and development preferably with an e-commerce company.

Nice To Haves

  • Logistics and/or WMS experience preferred.
  • Opendock experience preferred.
  • Agile Scrum certifications preferred.
