About The Position

At Togetherwork, we set a high bar for clarity, collaboration, and execution. While our Product & Strategy leaders own portfolio outcomes, our individual contributors are equally essential—bringing curiosity, precision, and a commitment to excellence to every initiative. We work in deep partnership with Engineering, Revenue, CX, Operations, and Support, sharing accountability for delivering stable, modern, insight-driven products that help our customers thrive. We expect ICs to bring strong analytical thinking, operational rigor, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to solve complex problems. Hard work is the norm—not for recognition, but for the greater good of our customers and the long-term health of our company. We embrace innovation, including responsible AI usage, to deepen insight, improve execution, and accelerate impact. This role reflects those expectations: collaborative, data-informed, customer-centered, delivery-oriented, and grounded in professionalism and positive intent. The Product Owner is the connective tissue between customers and engineering. This role is responsible for deeply understanding customer problems, translating them into clear, testable requirements, and driving predictable delivery through disciplined backlog management and proactive risk mitigation. The PO serves as both customer-facing and engineering-facing—partnering with Product Managers to absorb voice-of-customer insights while working side-by-side with Engineering to clarify scope, remove ambiguity, reduce risk, and ensure high-quality releases. Product Owners support two Scrum teams as their standard operating model and are accountable for backlog health, sprint readiness, prioritization discipline, and delivery outcomes. This role requires strong hands-on prototyping skills, including AI-assisted prototype generation, to rapidly validate concepts and accelerate engineering clarity. Product Owners ensure that customer problems are solved—not just features shipped. By serving as both customer advocate and engineering partner, this role removes ambiguity, reduces risk, and drives disciplined prioritization. Supporting two Scrum teams, the PO is directly accountable for delivery predictability, backlog clarity, and the translation of strategy into shipped, customer-impacting outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience proactively identifying and removing delivery risks.
  • Experience supporting two or more Scrum teams simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with both onshore and offshore development teams.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across cross-functional groups.

  • Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into structured epics, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner daily with engineering teams to clarify intent, answer questions, and reduce ambiguity before and during sprints.

  • Escalate and proactively remove delivery risks related to scope, dependencies, unclear requirements, or sequencing.
  • Own and continuously groom a strategically prioritized backlog aligned to customer value and roadmap outcomes.
  • Apply structured prioritization frameworks (value, risk, effort, impact) to ensure teams are always working on the highest-leverage initiatives.
  • Ensure sprint readiness through detailed story refinement, clear acceptance criteria, and dependency mapping.
  • Identify delivery risks early (technical, operational, sequencing, or scope-related) and proactively mitigate or escalate.
  • Maintain backlog hygiene across multiple product areas and two Scrum teams simultaneously.
  • Drive clarity to eliminate rework and reduce sprint spillover.
  • Create detailed workflows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Figma and AI-assisted design tools.
  • Use AI to rapidly generate prototype variations, refine acceptance criteria, simulate workflows, and accelerate iteration.
  • Translate prototypes into engineering-ready documentation with precision.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate story writing, backlog refinement, research synthesis, and edge-case identification.
  • Promote responsible AI usage to improve velocity without sacrificing quality.
  • Work with Product Managers to ensure backlog aligns with roadmap strategy and customer outcomes.
  • Partner with Delivery Managers to ensure releases are on track and on time.
  • Support GTM planning by clarifying feature functionality and expected customer value.
