About The Position

We’re looking for an individual with a passion for products and translating customer needs into product solutions. We need someone who understands that good software solutions deliver on ease of use and simplifying the complicated. Someone who can work closely with software engineers, talk to, and understand the needs of customers, and who is comfortable with designers and UI/UX principles. You’ll be responsible for managing and driving product initiatives through the product development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with our engineering team to ensure feature and project deliverables are on time. You’ll work closely with product marketing, sales and support to gain a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and will have a keen eye for identifying and solving problems that deliver true benefits. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field - Graduate Degree preferred
2-3 years of relevant experience
Proven work experience in product management and a track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Solid technical background with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web/mobile technologies
Experience and expertise in financial modeling, market research, and strategy development required
Exceptional analytical skills with solid understanding of product development processes, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to grasp multiple product requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with an emphasis in Excel
Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills
Organizational and time-management skills required
Keen sense of user experience and ability to empathize with customers

Nice To Haves

Software as a Service (SAAS) product experience strongly preferred
Experience in field service business a plus
Experience working side by side with hardware technology and software development

Responsibilities

Examine existing product lines and contribute to the product strategy and roadmap for new offerings
Define product requirements, specifications, and design requirements for current and future products
Drive for an easy-to-use, intuitive user experience for mobile and web applications
Assist with defining the go-to market strategy, product positioning and key customer benefits to ensure successful and profitable product launches
Identify fresh opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements
Stay abreast of new software and hardware offerings in the marketplace to ensure our solutions stay competitive
Engage with existing customers to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Lead cross-functional project teams from product concept through final product delivery
Participate in the agile development process and contribute to the priority of product enhancements
Work with QA/Testing to develop, document and test solutions and business cases
Provide cross-functional support to ensure our focus on driving sales and customer satisfaction
Assist with business cases, ensuring that the proposed product achieves the targeted goals for the portfolio
Evaluate potential partnerships and licensing opportunities to broaden our product offering
Provide subject-matter expertise and direction on new products for the organization
