About The Position

The Product Owner is a key member of Ally's Digital Transformation team and will work on a variety of projects varying in size and importance. This position will work on both mobile and web channels and be out front leading Ally's auto lines of business on a variety of digital capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with Ally's senior management, fellow product and platform Product Owners, technology development, analytics, UX, and content teams. The Mobile Product Owner will develop stories, guide development, and conduct production validation to offer deep insights into digital content, digital journeys, and digital personalization leveraged by the best digital competitors and world class digital companies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional digital product experience; background and working knowledge of auto industry or financial services preferred.
• Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
• Experience driving change and consensus across organizations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong analytical problem solver.
• Highly effective communicator (verbal and written), able to present to senior level executives and business partners.
• Proven experience in working in Agile/Scrum product development lifecycles.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, design, technology, or related experience.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years Mobile Product Owner experience.
• Familiarity with customer experience - B2C servicing.
• Native mobile app experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive engagement with fellow product owners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Lead requirements gathering session with business partners.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify key business requirements.
• Present strategy and content recommendations to partners across the organization, including senior and executive level management.
• Advocate for Consumer Auto needs with enterprise digital programs.
• Conduct industry and competitive analysis and stay informed on new industry trends and regulatory guidance.
• Leverage key business metrics, performance data, and industry trends to recommend and lead enhancements.
• Partner with business management and finance to define capability metrics and conduct ROI analysis.
• Remain engaged in all steps of the enhancement and sprint process, including business validation/testing.
• Triage production issues with business and technology partners.
• Ensure legal, risk, compliance, brand, and accessibility teams are engaged in the agile process.
• Work closely with design/usability and content teams to define user experience specifications.
• Drive scrum teams to meet product expectations through effective communication.
• Manage delivery schedules and timelines across multiple teams.
• Create a consistent, proactive reporting routine for standard product updates.
• Actively partner with senior management to create product roadmaps focusing on optimization, innovation, and customer experience.
